A 56-year-old former senior project manager at EM Services, Ng Yin Hong, faces corruption charges for allegedly accepting S$50,000 in bribes. The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau stated that the funds were provided by Ng Choon Mong, the director of Atlas Maintenance, in February 2023. The payment was reportedly intended to benefit the maintenance firm regarding a repair and redecoration contract involving the West Coast Town Council. Investigations revealed that the accused utilized a portion of the illicit funds for personal family expenditures. Both Ng Yin Hong and Ng Choon Mong were formally charged on September 7. EM Services, a joint venture between the Housing & Development Board and Keppel Land, confirmed that the individual is no longer employed by the firm as of 2024.
