The Cricket Association of Nepal has finalized the media rights for the upcoming Nepal Premier League. Himalaya Sports, a division of Himalaya Television, successfully obtained the television broadcast rights with a winning bid of 172.4 million rupees, inclusive of taxes. This figure represents a significant increase compared to the previous year's valuation. Simultaneously, NetTV secured the over-the-top streaming rights for the tournament. Their bid of 180.4 million rupees, excluding taxes, surpassed the offer from the only other competitor, Digo Stream. NetTV, supported by WorldLink, and Digo Stream, affiliated with Dish Home, were the two entities vying for the digital streaming contract. These agreements mark a substantial financial development for the domestic cricket league's media coverage.
