The complainants argue that the judicial magistrate’s August 3 ruling unfairly utilized an "ideal victim" framework to evaluate their testimonies. Additionally, the appeal contests the acquittal of Vinod Tomar, the federation's former assistant secretary, who previously faced accusations of criminal intimidation. In the original judgment, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Ashwini Panwar had dismissed the allegations against the former Bharatiya Janata Party lawmaker, characterizing the claims as fabricated and driven by political motives. The wrestlers are now seeking a legal review of these findings at the Rouse Avenue Courts.
