While Remulla clarified that he lacks the medical expertise to provide a personal diagnosis, he emphasized that the hospital's assessment confirms the former speaker requires ongoing medical supervision. Consequently, Remulla rejected claims that the situation is a staged performance, noting that the findings regarding the necessity of care while in custody originated directly from the hospital's medical staff rather than political sources.
