The Manila Health Department recently released its latest W.I.L.D. disease report, which tracks local data on water-borne illnesses, influenza, leptospirosis, and dengue. According to the latest figures from Monday, the city identified 32 new cases of influenza-like illness, marking the highest count among the categories monitored in the report. Additionally, health authorities recorded 22 new instances of dengue and 15 new cases of leptospirosis, alongside one confirmed case of a water-borne disease. In response to these findings, local officials are encouraging residents to seek medical advice promptly if they experience symptoms related to these conditions to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
