The Mongolian government has initiated an extraordinary session of the State Great Khural to address critical legislative updates, including revisions to the 2026 national budget and fiscal projections for 2027-2028. Prime Minister N. Uchral presented these financial adjustments, which also encompass changes to the National Wealth Fund and social insurance systems. Additionally, the Prime Minister has directed relevant ministries to place oil exploration and extraction activities under the protection of the internal security forces. Beyond domestic policy, the government is actively promoting the "National Green Lab" platform, a public-private partnership that has successfully attracted international investment for environmental and sustainable development projects. Meanwhile, the nation is preparing for the 2027 presidential election, while also hosting diplomatic visits, including an upcoming state visit from the President of Montenegro.
