The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples recently conducted a consultative meeting with members of the Aeta Hungey indigenous community in Capas, Tarlac. The discussion, which took place in Sitio Binyayan, was organized to listen to and resolve the local population's apprehensions regarding the planned Pax Silica Project. This dialogue aims to ensure that the voices and rights of the indigenous cultural communities are respected and considered before any development activities proceed in their ancestral domain.
