The Ministry of Sports and Youth in Qatar, in partnership with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ICESCO), has launched the Strategic Foresight Forum on Global Youth Competencies and Lifelong Learning. Running from October 11 to 15, the event gathers experts, policymakers, and young delegates from 19 ICESCO member nations, alongside nearly 100 Qatari participants. The primary objective is to examine how advancements in artificial intelligence, evolving educational frameworks, and shifting labor markets will influence the future. By engaging in these discussions, attendees aim to anticipate long-term global trends and understand how current policy decisions will impact the world by 2040. This initiative provides a platform for the younger generation to contribute to strategic planning and prepare for the complexities of the coming decades.
