During a recent workshop held in Doha, Qatar’s Minister of State for International Co-operation, Dr. Maryam bint Ali al-Misnad, emphasized that the protection of children remains a fundamental priority for the nation. She asserted that essential services for children, including healthcare, education, and nutrition, must remain insulated from political disputes and ongoing conflicts. Qatar continues to utilize its role as a mediator and diplomatic bridge-builder to facilitate humanitarian efforts in volatile regions. The event convened a diverse group of experts, including diplomats, legal professionals, and humanitarian leaders, to develop actionable strategies for ensuring child-sensitive aid reaches those in need. By maintaining open communication channels, Qatar aims to uphold humanitarian standards and protect vulnerable youth, regardless of the complexity or duration of international crises.
