The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is scheduled to hold discussions with Israeli authorities this week regarding the resumption of visits to Palestinian security prisoners. These humanitarian visits, which allow the Red Cross to meet with detainees, were suspended following the events of October 7. The upcoming talks aim to re-establish this access. Separately, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has publicly criticized the High Court of Justice. His disapproval stems from the court's recent directive to lift the existing prohibition on such visits, indicating a governmental disagreement over the policy.
