A Saudi National Guard reconnaissance helicopter suffered a fatal crash in the Najran province on Sunday. According to coalition spokesperson Turki al-Maliki, the AH-6i aircraft went down within Saudi borders following a technical failure, resulting in the deaths of two officers. In a separate development, the Saudi-led coalition reported the successful interception of two ballistic missiles fired by Houthi forces toward Khamis Mushait. These defensive actions were confirmed shortly after Saudi Civil Defense authorities issued warnings regarding potential threats in Riyadh, Abha, and Khamis Mushait. The coalition has officially extended its sympathies to the families of the deceased personnel following the aviation accident.
