The House prosecution panel presented Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) official Gerardo del Rosario as a witness during the impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte. Del Rosario, who has led the SEC's Company Registration and Monitoring Department since 2018, provided testimony regarding his oversight of corporate compliance and registration processes. A long-time SEC employee who joined the agency in 1996, he holds a law degree from Manuel L. Quezon University. His appearance is linked to the second article of the impeachment complaint, which alleges that the Vice President engaged in the accumulation of unexplained wealth through undisclosed corporate interests and shareholdings. Del Rosario detailed his administrative responsibilities and his role in executing the directives of the Commission En Banc during his testimony.
