A 75-year-old business owner, Lee Kai Soon, received a ten-day prison sentence after pleading guilty to charges of mischief. The proprietor of Tong Sheng Impex, a company specializing in storage racks, targeted competitors by removing their promotional posters at newly constructed Housing Development Board estates. Court records indicate that Lee, sometimes assisted by his spouse, caused damage to public walls and communal areas while attempting to promote his own services and obstruct those of his rivals. Following his actions at an Ang Mo Kio residential block, where he tried to dismantle competing advertisements, he faced legal consequences for his behavior. The court considered three specific charges of mischief during the sentencing process, while two additional counts were also taken into account.
