A 66-year-old woman in Singapore has been issued at least 19 parking citations by the Housing & Development Board (HDB) since September 2025, despite neither she nor her family members owning or operating a car. Her husband reported that the couple has received over 50 reminder notices regarding these infractions, which total S$1,320 in penalties. The fines are linked to a vehicle displaying the license plate number 7965Y. The husband expressed confusion over the origin of the vehicle, noting that he has not driven since 2024. The couple is currently dealing with the administrative burden of these erroneous charges, which have persisted despite their lack of vehicle ownership.
