A recent survey by ManpowerGroup indicates that Taiwan's employment outlook for the fourth quarter has strengthened, reaching a net employment outlook of 26 percent after seasonal adjustments. This figure represents an increase from both the previous quarter and the same period last year. The information technology sector leads the growth, driven by high demand for AI-related roles, cybersecurity, and DevOps expertise. Additionally, the construction and real estate industry saw significant gains due to infrastructure expansion for semiconductor and AI firms, while the trade and logistics sector also reported increased hiring intentions to support automation and e-commerce. Among 11 Asia-Pacific economies, Taiwan ranked seventh, trailing behind leaders like India and Vietnam, but remaining ahead of Japan. While Taiwan's outlook is positive, it currently sits slightly below the global average of 29 percent.
