In response to a recent Ebola virus disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a related case identified in Kenya, Tanzanian authorities have reinforced health surveillance for all incoming travelers. Under the new Travel Advisory No. 18, which is currently in effect, individuals arriving in the country are mandated to complete a health surveillance form. This documentation must be submitted either prior to their departure or upon their arrival at the border. These enhanced screening procedures aim to mitigate the risk of virus transmission and ensure public safety following the regional health developments.
