Thai officials are currently accelerating a comprehensive investigation involving approximately 11,000 business entities suspected of having ties to foreign nationals. The inquiry focuses on land and various assets valued at 85 billion baht, which are currently under intense regulatory scrutiny. Investigators are meticulously tracking property transfers and ownership structures to ensure compliance with national laws regarding foreign land acquisition. The government has established a firm deadline of September 30th to conclude these examinations. This initiative represents a significant effort by the state to monitor and regulate foreign investment in the domestic real estate sector, ensuring that all holdings adhere to existing legal frameworks and transparency requirements.
