Cosmo Developments has announced the launch of The Wadi, a residential project on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi valued at six billion dirhams. Spanning 140,700 square meters, the development prioritizes pedestrian mobility by relocating all vehicle traffic and parking facilities underground. This design choice allows the surface level to be dedicated to a six-kilometer running track, cycling paths, pedestrian walkways, parks, and water features. According to Andrea Nucera, managing director of the development firm, the project aims to foster a cohesive community atmosphere where residents can move freely without encountering surface traffic. The initiative reflects a modern approach to urban planning in the United Arab Emirates, focusing on creating integrated, vehicle-free living spaces for its future inhabitants.
