The Thai women's table tennis squad exited the Nagoya-Aichi 2026 Asian Games following a quarterfinal defeat against India at Sky Hall Toyota. A victory in this round would have guaranteed the winning team a spot in the semifinals and at least a bronze medal. Thailand initially gained momentum when Orawan Paranang secured a comeback victory over Sreeja Akula. Although Suthasini Sawettabut fell to Yashaswini Ghorpade, Jinnipa Sawettabut regained the lead for Thailand by defeating Diya Chitale. However, Orawan Paranang was unable to overcome Ghorpade in the subsequent match, leveling the score at 2-2. The contest ultimately proceeded to a final deciding match between Suthasini and Akula to determine which nation would advance in the tournament.
