United States President Donald Trump has announced the deployment of special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Kyiv and Moscow. The delegation aims to present a new diplomatic proposal to resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which began with Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022. According to a senior Ukrainian official, the American representatives are scheduled to arrive in Kyiv on Sunday. Reports from US media outlet Axios also indicate that the envoys are set to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This diplomatic mission represents the latest effort by the Trump administration to break the deadlock in the European conflict.
