A 20-year-old full-time National Serviceman with the Singapore Civil Defence Force, LCP Muhammad Nur Ilham Mohammed Iswadi, died after being discovered unresponsive at the Marina Bay Fire Station on the morning of September 6. The incident occurred at the station's training yard while the serviceman was on duty. Colleagues attempted to revive him using cardiopulmonary resuscitation before he was transported to Singapore General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Local police authorities were notified shortly after 8:00 am and have stated that initial investigations indicate no signs of foul play. LCP Muhammad Nur Ilham had joined the force in February 2026 and finished his specialized firefighter training in early August, prior to his assignment at the Marina Bay facility later that same month.
