The University of Doha for Science and Technology has collaborated with Alfardan Exchange to introduce the FinTech Stars competition. This program is designed to foster entrepreneurial skills and innovative thinking among students, encouraging them to create functional solutions for the local financial technology industry. By nurturing young talent, the initiative seeks to bolster the digital finance landscape in alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Qatar Central Bank’s strategic goals for 2024–2030. Furthermore, the project supports the Qatar Financial Centre’s objective of establishing Doha as a prominent international hub for finance and commerce. Through this partnership, organizers aim to promote economic diversification and provide students with opportunities to contribute to the nation's evolving regulatory and business environment.
