The USS Abraham Lincoln departed Laem Chabang on Sunday, concluding a four-day visit to Thailand that involved nearly 5,000 American sailors and Marines. This marked the carrier's first arrival in the country in over 14 years. During the stay, personnel engaged in sightseeing and recreational activities in Pattaya, supported by local security and logistics coordination. Captain Dan Keeler expressed gratitude for the hospitality shown by the Thai people and highlighted the cultural significance of the visit. Two other American naval vessels also docked in nearby provinces during this period. The carrier strike group has now resumed its operational duties under the Seventh Fleet, focusing on regional security and alliance strengthening before its expected return to San Diego in the coming weeks.
