Yemeni military officials announced a series of coordinated attacks using ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles against several strategic locations in Saudi Arabia. The strikes hit Aramco energy facilities in the cities of Najran, Jizan, and Abha, as well as the King Khalid Air Base. Brigadier General Yahya Saree characterized the operation as a direct response to a surge in aerial bombardments by the Saudi-led coalition, which allegedly conducted 121 strikes across Yemen in a 72-hour period. One such coalition attack on a detention center in Al-Jawf province reportedly resulted in the deaths of seven individuals. The Yemeni spokesperson emphasized that military pressure would continue until the current blockade is lifted, citing significant damage to the targeted Saudi infrastructure during this latest escalation of hostilities.
