The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea, in partnership with Cisco, has highlighted the growing cybersecurity vulnerabilities associated with aging information technology infrastructure. During a private roundtable discussion held at Cisco Korea’s Seoul headquarters, industry leaders and security specialists addressed the dangers of relying on end-of-life technology. As artificial intelligence continues to transform the nature of digital threats, the organizations emphasized that maintaining outdated hardware and software leaves businesses increasingly susceptible to attacks. The event served as a call to action for Korean enterprises to prioritize the modernization of their digital systems to better defend against evolving security risks in an increasingly complex technological environment.
