The official website of Bangladesh Bank is back online after a three-day suspension initiated last Thursday. Authorities took the site offline as a precautionary measure against potential global cyber threats. According to bank spokesperson Arif Hossain Khan, the temporary closure allowed technical teams to conduct thorough security assessments and identify any system vulnerabilities. Despite the website being inaccessible, the central bank confirmed that all mobile and internet banking services remained fully operational throughout this period, ensuring that customer transactions were not interrupted. With the perceived risk of cyberattacks now diminished, the institution decided to resume normal online operations on Sunday morning. The bank emphasized that this proactive step was necessary to safeguard digital infrastructure, which has become increasingly critical for the country's financial and government services.
