Manchester United forward Benjamin Sesko is approaching the upcoming derby with increased confidence compared to his debut season. The Slovenian international struggled initially following his transfer from RB Leipzig, but his form improved significantly under manager Michael Carrick, leading him to become the club's joint top scorer. Despite a challenging start and a shin injury sustained against Liverpool in May that forced him to miss the end of the previous campaign and the recent preseason, Sesko remains positive about his development. He explained that his absence during the summer was a precautionary measure to ensure a full recovery from his injury and physical fatigue. Now fully integrated, the striker believes he is in a much stronger position to contribute to the team as they prepare to face their local rivals.
