Nepal's Chief of Army Staff, Ashok Raj Sigdel, commenced an official trip to China on September 13, which is scheduled to conclude on September 19. The primary objective of his visit is to participate in the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum. Military officials stated that this engagement aims to bolster bilateral defense ties and advance Nepal's foreign policy objectives through military diplomacy. While General Sigdel is abroad, Lieutenant General Pradeep Jung KC has been appointed to serve as the Acting Chief of the Nepal Army to oversee daily operations and responsibilities.
