The district is actively promoting its high-quality educational institutions, residential infrastructure, and emerging robotics industry to appeal to the American semiconductor firm. AMD Chief Executive Officer Lisa Su announced on October 7 that the company intends to launch an AI Center of Excellence in South Korea before the conclusion of the year. This initiative aims to recruit hundreds of specialized researchers to drive the company's technological advancements. Local authorities believe that the district's unique amenities and strategic location make it an ideal candidate to host the new research hub and its incoming workforce.
