South Korean battery materials manufacturer Posco Future M has announced a strategic initiative to integrate artificial intelligence across its production processes. The company intends to achieve a 30 percent improvement in manufacturing efficiency and cut product development timelines by half before the end of the first half of 2028. This digital transformation focuses on creating an AI-native operating system where automated tools handle process optimization, while human staff maintain oversight of final decision-making. To facilitate this transition, the firm has already identified and prioritized 28 internal projects developed by its own workforce to enhance operational capabilities.
