Members of the Bangiyo Hindu Jagaran Manch marched to the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata on Sunday, breaching police barricades and throwing stones onto the premises. The demonstration resulted in physical altercations between the protesters and law enforcement officials. According to a spokesperson for the group, the march was a response to alleged disrespect shown toward Swami Vivekananda and Bharat Mata by students on September 27. This incident follows a violent clash at the institute last week, where at least six students sustained injuries after opposing an event hosted by the Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat, an organization affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Authorities are currently managing the security situation at the campus following these repeated confrontations.
