The Auditor General’s Report 2/2026 indicates that the Malaysian Federal Government collected RM39.547 billion in investment dividends during 2025. This figure represents a 1.4 percent rise, or RM535 million, compared to the RM39.012 billion recorded in 2024. These funds were sourced from 20 corporations and two statutory bodies. Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) remained the primary contributor, providing RM32 billion in dividends. Additionally, Bank Negara Malaysia saw a notable growth in its payments, which climbed to RM5.25 billion from RM2.85 billion the previous year. Khazanah Nasional Bhd also contributed RM2 billion to the total government dividend revenue for the 2025 fiscal period.
