Yahya Al-e Es’hagh, head of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce, stated that both nations possess significant potential to expand their annual trade volume by $20 billion. Speaking at a meeting in Kermanshah focused on export promotion, he emphasized that this growth is achievable if existing domestic and international trade obstacles are addressed. An economic delegation, including officials from the Headquarters for the Development of Economic Relations between Iran and Iraq, traveled to the western Iranian province of Kermanshah to discuss strategies for enhancing commercial cooperation. The discussions aim to identify practical solutions to current challenges hindering trade activities between the two neighboring countries, thereby fostering stronger economic ties and creating new momentum for bilateral business exchanges.
