Sultan Haitham bin Tarik is scheduled to conduct his inaugural official visit to Kazakhstan on October 5-6. This diplomatic mission aims to transform existing political relations into tangible partnerships across sectors including trade, transportation, investment, and technology. Both nations are currently focused on aligning their strategies to navigate shifting connectivity trends throughout Eurasia and the Middle East. Furthermore, the two countries are exploring collaborative efforts in modern fields such as artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure. This upcoming visit builds upon a series of high-level engagements, including a notable trip by Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi to Astana in early 2025, which has significantly bolstered bilateral ties between the two states in recent years.
