The Hong Kong Police Force has intensified its efforts to locate the missing remains of the late Cantopop icon Anita Mui Yim-fong. This decision follows public criticism from Mui’s family, who reported that the urn disappeared from the Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island approximately three months ago. The family expressed significant frustration regarding the lack of developments in the case, noting that the situation has caused them considerable emotional hardship. In response to these concerns and the ongoing investigation, law enforcement officials have decided to allocate additional personnel and resources to the matter. The case remains under active review as authorities work to address the family's grievances and resolve the disappearance of the singer's ashes.
