Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, stated that the nation has reached a level of nuclear expertise equivalent to that of developed countries. During a National Standard Day event, he emphasized that Iran is now producing essential industrial equipment domestically, effectively bypassing foreign supply restrictions. Eslami noted that despite external challenges, including cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure and the refusal of foreign suppliers to provide necessary technology, Iranian specialists have successfully developed local alternatives. He highlighted that the average age of the scientists driving these advancements is around 35, reflecting a young and capable workforce. According to Eslami, the government aims to leverage these nuclear and technological achievements to foster economic growth and improve the quality of life for its citizens, asserting that the country's pursuit of scientific progress remains legitimate and resilient against international pressure.
