According to local reports, troops deployed tear gas near an olive press in Aqraba, causing respiratory distress among children present at the scene. Additional military activity was documented in Nabi Saleh, Deir Abu Mashal, and al-Ram, where soldiers utilized stun grenades and tear gas. Furthermore, the Jaba checkpoint was closed, leading to significant traffic disruptions. Clashes were also reported during an operation in the village of Madama. These incidents occur amidst a broader escalation of military actions and security measures in the region since October 2023, which have included frequent arrests, property damage, and confrontations between local residents and Israeli forces.
