The Jerusalem District Court has dismissed three consolidated legal petitions aimed at stopping a tender for over 1,200 housing units in the E1 sector of the occupied West Bank. Petitioners had requested an interim injunction to freeze the project, citing a breach of the State Attorney's commitment to provide prior notification before publishing the tender. The plaintiffs contended that advancing the settlement plans while legal proceedings are ongoing would establish irreversible conditions on the ground, potentially rendering future court rulings ineffective. However, the court rejected the request, determining that significant time will elapse before the tender is executed or any physical construction begins. Consequently, the court concluded that there is no immediate necessity to halt the administrative process while the broader legal challenges against the settlement expansion continue.
