Kazakhstan has officially reached a significant diplomatic milestone by establishing formal relations with all member nations of the United Nations. This achievement was finalized on October 31 following the signing of a joint communiqué with the Republic of Nauru. The agreement, signed by Kazakhstan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Kairat Umarov, and his Nauruan counterpart, Lara Erab Daniel, makes Nauru the 195th country to enter into official diplomatic ties with Astana. This development marks the completion of Kazakhstan's goal to maintain formal diplomatic channels with every UN member state. The newly signed document establishes a framework for future bilateral cooperation, grounded in the core principles of the United Nations Charter and established international law.
