The Department of Transportation has announced that the Guadalupe EDSA Busway station will officially reopen to the public on November 6, 2026. Following an inspection by Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon and Public Works Secretary Giovanni Lopez, the government confirmed that the facility has undergone significant rehabilitation. To enhance the daily experience for commuters, authorities have mandated the installation of new seating, ceiling fans, and upgraded restroom facilities. This project is the result of a collaborative effort between the Department of Transportation and the Department of Public Works and Highways, aligning with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to prioritize the comfort and welfare of public transit users. These infrastructure improvements are part of a broader government initiative aimed at streamlining daily travel and modernizing public transportation facilities across the region.
