A delegation from Uzbekistan's Navoi region, headed by Hokim Normat Tursunov, recently conducted an official visit to Egypt. The primary objective of this mission was to study Egyptian strategies for managing water resources and cultivating arid desert landscapes. The Uzbek officials examined various modern irrigation techniques currently employed in Egypt to determine their suitability for implementation within the Navoi region. By adopting these international practices, local authorities aim to improve the productivity and sustainable development of desert territories back home. This exchange of knowledge highlights a commitment to integrating advanced agricultural technology to address environmental challenges in Uzbekistan's dry regions.
