Approximately 230 to 240 migrant workers from Process Maintenance Solutions and Jurong Technical & Construction have reportedly not received their salaries for up to two months. The Migrant Workers' Centre and NTUC have intervened to address the situation after meeting with the affected individuals on October 19 and 20. These workers, primarily from the process sector, are being provided with assistance regarding their salary claims, as well as essential needs such as food and housing. Additionally, efforts are being made to facilitate job-matching for those impacted. Member of Parliament Desmond Choo highlighted the issue, noting the importance of addressing the workers' concerns. The Ministry of Manpower is also involved in the ongoing efforts to resolve the payment disputes and support the workforce.
