The leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has opted to reschedule its upcoming protest march toward Islamabad. While the political committee initially debated maintaining the original date of September 27, they ultimately reached a consensus to push the event to October 4. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Khan Afridi is expected to provide an official announcement regarding this change. Previously, Afridi had publicly insisted that the demonstration would proceed as planned, dismissing concerns regarding potential government-imposed road closures or security measures. Despite internal discussions among party members, the committee finalized the postponement to ensure the mobilization occurs at a later time.
