The Russian Embassy in Tehran has officially rejected claims circulating in certain media outlets suggesting that Russian diplomatic staff and technical experts are departing from Iran’s Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant. In a formal statement, the embassy clarified that all operations at the facility are proceeding according to their regular schedule and dismissed the evacuation rumors as misinformation. The Bushehr plant, which serves as Iran's primary commercial nuclear site, has been a focal point of long-standing nuclear energy cooperation between Moscow and Tehran since the 1990s. Russia remains actively involved in the project, including the ongoing development of additional reactor units. The embassy indicated that the source of these false reports is evident, reaffirming that the collaborative work on peaceful nuclear energy applications remains unaffected by such claims.
