On Wednesday, the China Coast Guard (CCG) conducted surveillance of a Philippine mission delivering essential supplies to a vessel stationed at Ren'ai Jiao in the South China Sea. CCG spokesperson Jiang Lue confirmed that the delivery of daily necessities was permitted by Chinese authorities. During the operation, the CCG identified and verified the Philippine boat, maintaining oversight of the entire transport process. This monitoring ensures that the activities at the reef, where a Philippine naval ship has been grounded, remain within the scope of the agreed-upon arrangements for humanitarian provisions.
