Saudi Arabia has secured the top position among G20 nations regarding the quality of its auditing and accounting practices. This achievement highlights the substantial evolution of the Kingdom's financial sector over the last ten years, driven by the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. Reforms have focused on updating legislative frameworks, enhancing professional standards, improving skill sets, and establishing rigorous performance oversight. These improvements have collectively bolstered the reliability of financial reporting within the national business environment. According to the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA), the country also reached ninth place globally in the Auditing and Accounting Practices Index, which is featured in the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2026.
