The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a formal condemnation regarding recent Houthi militia strikes against civilian and economic infrastructure in the southern provinces. These attacks resulted in injuries to 73 individuals, among them women and children, across locations including Abha, Jazan, Najran, and Khamis Mushait. Furthermore, the Kingdom criticized the group for ongoing interference with commercial shipping lanes in the Red Sea, which disrupts international maritime navigation. Saudi officials characterized these actions as hostile behavior that undermines regional stability and demonstrates a persistent disregard for peace initiatives. Consequently, the government has asserted its sovereign right to implement all required defensive measures to safeguard its national interests and ensure the protection of its citizens against further aggression.
