Saudi Arabian authorities have reported that Houthi rebels from Yemen targeted various civilian and economic locations within the kingdom, resulting in at least 73 injuries, including women and children. Coalition spokesman Major-General Turki al-Maliki stated that the strikes affected provinces such as Jizan, Najran, Abha, and Khamis Mushait. While the specific timing of these incidents remains undisclosed, officials characterized the offensive as a significant escalation and a breach of national sovereignty. These hostilities occur amidst an intensified counteroffensive by the Saudi-supported Yemeni government aimed at reclaiming territory from the Iran-aligned Houthi forces. The coalition has condemned the actions as a direct danger to the safety of residents and citizens, signaling that a firm response is being prepared to address the ongoing threat.
