Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar announced that the provincial administration is set to establish a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to examine the Mir Raza case. This decision follows the recommendations provided by a judicial commission. The government has already received a comprehensive seven-volume report regarding the matter, which was previously reviewed by a subcommittee of the Sindh Cabinet. The Chief Minister has been briefed on these findings, and formal approval is now pending to proceed with the JIT. Furthermore, the provincial authorities intend to coordinate with the Federal Investigation Agency as part of the investigative process. The Home Minister highlighted the significance of the judicial commission's work, noting that it was led by the experienced Justice Umar Sial under the direct instructions of the Chief Minister.
