The Singaporean government has initiated a phased rollout of N95 masks to assist vulnerable citizens as air quality declines due to the haze. Managed by the National Environment Agency and the People's Association, the distribution process involves providing masks through various Community Clubs across the country. Furthermore, the authorities are installing specialized vending machines at Social Service Offices, public transport interchanges, and community venues to improve accessibility. These supplies are being deployed gradually starting from the evening of October 14, with regular restocking planned for all locations. Eligibility for the masks is restricted to specific groups, including holders of CHAS Blue and Orange cards, as well as seniors belonging to the Pioneer and Merdeka Generation cohorts. Residents are advised that availability may vary by location as the distribution network continues to expand.
